Nordic expansion in sight as Add Health Media gears up sales force


Add Health Media (AHM) is the largest media actor in Sweden, reaching both healthcare professionals and patients. It is now gearing up its sales force to continue expanding in the Nordic market. Since the turn of the year, a new sales and marketing manager has been appointed and just last August a new key account manager joined the company.

Add Health Media has several strong brands in its portfolio and through its media it reaches both patients and healthcare professionals. At the end of May, it also acquired Pharma Industry Publishing, with strong brands such as Oncology in Sweden and Neurology in Sweden. This broadens the portfolio and increases opportunities for synergies and the creation of new services. To further strengthen its position in the market, AHM has added new positions to the organisation.

Jennie Wåge started as Nordic Key Account Manager in mid-August. Jennie has many years of experience in marketing from various industries, including the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked as Nordic Brand Manager at Walt Disney Co, as well as being responsible for a number of different brands at Perrigo and most recently Karo Pharma.

– It’s great fun and exciting to join Add Health Media and be part of the expanding phase the company is in. My background in marketing and sales means that I bring a broad perspective from both the customer and supplier side. Now I am eager to get into our customers’ everyday lives and find solutions to their challenges, says Jennie Wåge, Nordic Key Account Manager at Add Health Media.

In addition to expanding its sales force, AHM has also chosen to make organisational changes in order to maintain a high level of service in line with its Nordic expansion. Lisa Miksell, former Nordic KAM at the company and with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, stepped up and assumed the role of Nordic Sales & Marketing Director at the turn of the year. Her task is to keep sales and future marketing activities together and efficient, but also to develop new business opportunities.

– We have a strong desire to constantly be at the forefront and find new products and services that can complement our already effective communication channels. That’s where we see Jennie as a perfect fit in our growth strategy. Her understanding of the overall business will enable her to deepen the relationship with many of our customers and also expand the customer base, says Lisa Miksell, Nordic Sales & Marketing Director at Add Health Media.

Add Health Media has grown very rapidly through investment and digitisation of training for doctors and also for patients in various disease areas. The growth has also been driven by the pharmaceutical companies’ desire to reach the entire Nordic region through one player. Since 2014, AHM has had a presence throughout the Nordic region and aims to become a dominant player in the Nordic market.
