Add Health Media donates media space to Ebba’s angels – in memory of Ebba Åkerlund. The foundation works for the benefit of children in Sweden who lack the financial means to develop their talent and ambitions, primarily in the sports or cultural field.
Ebba Åkerlund fell victim to the terrorist attack on Drottninggatan 2017 and in memory of Ebba, Ebba’s mother, Jeanette Åkerlund, founded the Ebbas Änglar Fundraising Foundation – in memory of Ebba Åkerlund. The activities are based on gifts from individuals, companies and organizations and the foundation has consciously chosen to help children locally. There are many fundraisers and aid organizations for the benefit of children who are having difficulty outside Sweden’s borders and Ebbas Änglar has therefore chosen to focus on the need for help that is in our vicinity.
Once a year, Ebba’s Angels will distribute an angel gift to an existing aid organization with up to 40% of the funds raised. An angel gift can be applied for by you who have a child in your vicinity who you think needs help to develop their talent or to reach their goals. The child must not have turned 18 before the end of the application period to receive the angel gift. Ebba’s Angels want to help where our society does not have a natural safety net for our children and where this safety net is missing, it is you who are looking who are talking about. Those who have been selected to receive an angel gift will be announced on the anniversary of the event on Drottninggatan, April 7, and the recipient can be anonymous.
Gifts to the foundation are extremely important as Ebbas Änglar is a fundraising foundation and its existence depends on your gifts. Together, we can make a difference for the children who on their own do not have the opportunity to develop their talent and ambitions and it is in that spirit that Add Health Media has now chosen to donate digital media space for the 2019 memorial concert.
