e-Prescribing is a mobile application that enables quick and easy prescribing of medicines and assistive devices through electronic prescriptions directly on mobile phones and tablets. The app is aimed at doctors, dentists, midwives and nurses with prescribing rights and currently has 28,000 verified prescribers registered and with ever-increasing downloads. The service is approved for connection to the Swedish Public Health Agency's services for sending e-prescriptions and cooperates with the Swedish Public Health Agency, the National Board of Health and Welfare, the Swedish Tax Agency, BankID and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR). It is free to download and register with the possibility to choose. The app is available for mobile and tablet devices on Apple iOS and Android.
