New Tax Network – responsive web design for EY

Responsive web design is today one of the cornerstones of giving the visitor a positive experience on a site, regardless of whether they are browsing on their mobile phone, tablet or sitting in front of a traditional computer screen.

Responsive design is a method that allows the site’s layout to change automatically depending on the visitor’s screen size and resolution, and takes into account the features that the browser supports.

On a responsive site, the images are automatically adjusted and scaled up or down depending on the screen size. The number of columns, the width of the text and how the text is structured are also adjusted automatically. A visitor should be able to easily see a site on their mobile, tablet or computer without having to zoom and scroll too much.

Responsiveness is very important for the user experience and is now a fundamental part of the development of new sites. Google’s search algorithms now also take into account whether a site is responsive and rank it higher. A site visitor simply expects a site to be fully responsive today.

As we have previously written about in the blog, we have been working for many years with EY – a world-leading global company in auditing, accounting, tax and business consulting. We are responsible for several of the company’s sites in the Nordic region, including Access.ey.se .

For the business area in tax, we developed the site Skattenätet.se in WordPress a few years ago. The wishes from EY were then an easy-to-use site for daily communication with room for a lot of information. In this particular case, EY had a ready-made design that was used for several markets that we implemented.

We work closely with the team at EY with ongoing management and further development of the site. Now we have just made a minor redesign of the Tax Network with a focus on full responsiveness.
