Add Health Media strengthens its editorial expertise – Rebecka Kaplan Sturk new editor-in-chief of Doktorn.com and acting editor-in-chief of Praktisk Medicin

Add Health Media continues to invest in editorial quality and expertise. From the fall of 2025, Rebecka Kaplan Sturk will be the new editor-in-chief of Doktorn.com. In January 2026, she will also take on the role of acting editor-in-chief of Praktisk Medicin, while regular editor-in-chief Sofia Åkerlund is on parental leave.

Rebecka Kaplan Sturk has extensive experience in medical journalism, editorial leadership and strategic communications. With a solid background in the healthcare field, she has worked to make evidence-based knowledge accessible, relevant and engaging – for both healthcare professionals and the public. Rebecka is a familiar face to Doktorn.com readers as she was acting editor-in-chief in 2023.

Since 1976, Praktisk Medicin has been one of Sweden’s most widely used digital decision support tools for doctors and healthcare professionals, with clinical guidelines and treatment recommendations. Doktorn.com is aimed at the general public and offers news, reports and guides on health, illness and lifestyle.
