Add Health Media (AHM) has acquired Nordisk Väntrums-TV (NVTV) and thus becomes one of the major players in health and medical media aimed at the general public. The acquisition means that AHM reaches out to 7 million patients annually via its various media channels.
AHM has previously been a partner in NVTV together with the business angel Lars Lindgren and CEO Brodde Wetter. The acquisition takes place via shares in AHM and thus Lars Lindgren and Brodde Wetter become partners in AHM together with the founder Johan Bloom. The new AHM is expected in 2017 to have sales of just over SEK 30 million with good profitability.
– We see an increased demand for media with targeted target groups in an environment where advertisers want to be seen. It was an obvious choice to join AHM to strengthen our offers to media agencies and advertisers, says Brodde Wetter who will be the new CEO of AHM.
All large private care companies and several county councils have agreements with NVTV to provide patient information via screens in the waiting rooms. The company currently has 1,370 screens at healthcare and dental clinics across the country with a reach of close to one million unique patients per month, corresponding to 3.3 million advertising contacts. AHM sees this as a strong complement to its existing activities in health information.
– We expect a strong increase in sales in the next few years through both organic growth and more strategic acquisitions, says Lars Lindgren who will be chairman of the board of AHM.
